Don't cheat by looking up your heliocentric ephemeris, that is ... if you do have one.
These mystery charts can be solved by anyone, you don't even have to be an astrologer.
Every day a hint towards the solution is given . These hints are based on the analysis of the heliocentric chart, so they are a good way to learn astrology and heliocentric astrology in particular.
The hints are added to this page progressively. The mystery lasts a week and the solution is given at the end of the week.
I will be pleased to publish the best analysis or comments given on this mystery chart, even if the actual answer is wrong, next Tuesday along with the correct answer.

Wednesday - Hint 1:
Mercury is in Pisces: the mental outlook of this person is tuned in to the realm of fantasy. Pisces is a magical sign and Mercury here fantasizes a lot. Pisces is all about dreamy illusion and the person's thought processes and expressive abilities (Mercury) can be quite unusual, even extraordinary.
Pisces often represents art, in one form or the other, as the expression of everything fantastic.
There may be a tendency to substance abuse, as Pisces is also about escaping.
As a matter of fact, Pisces Mercury is difficult to pin down. You never really know them well, as they tend to escape from being categorized. In fact they can transform themselves very well. The mystery person does all of this...
Mercury is squared by Saturn: more precisely, this square is a 10th house aspect (see more on aspects in the Lesson on Aspects and Houses). With this aspect, Saturn represents the duty of Mercury. Our mysterious person is definitely someone who has worked a lot (Saturn).
Saturn square Mercury will also make the person very reserved, often even lonely. Add that to the Pisces escapism...
Saturn is in Sagittarius and Sagittarius can represent foreign countries. Our mystery person has taken to living in seclusion abroad.

Thursday - Hint 2:
Venus is in Cancer: the mystery person is very sensitive and feels the emotional need (Venus) to protect himself/herself (Cancer).
This position usually gives also a strong emotional attachment to everything related to family (which includes children) and to the home environment, which includes the actual dwellings (house). Venus in Cancer also gives the tendency to like children in general, not only one's own children.
Venus is strongly connected to Mercury: the aspect is a trine and although it's slightly out of orb to be considered a strict trine, there is another element which emphasizes the connection: the dispositor for Venus (the ruler of Cancer) is the Earth, which is in Pisces and therefore conjunct Mercury. With this connection, the trine becomes more important.
It's a 5th house trine: a creative product. This plays out in Mystery-1's life as a reinforcement of the artistic tendencies already present in the Pisces signature.
As the Earth is the important link between Venus and Mercury, these artistic skills are manifested through the body.
Friday - Hint 3:
Look at all the aspects the Earth receives. As you know by now, the Earth signifies the most material level of manifestation: first of all it represents the body.
Pluto is in opposition to Earth: mystery person has definitely experienced a destruction and renewal of the body. With an opposition, we can assume that Pluto's effect is experienced as coming from the outside. In this case quite literally: the outside of the body has been changed in a significant way.
Jupiter and Neptune are in trine to Earth: and this is the best trine possible as it is a 9th house trine. Jupiter and Neptune co-operate in favourably enhancing abilities connected with the body.
Jupiter's expanding qualities reinforce the actual meaning of a 9th trinal aspect. No, it doesn't mean the person's fat. It means that whatever the body's going to do is going to be expanded. You can read that as being successful with the body.
Neptune adds a magical quality, as there is a transcendent force going on. The physical reality is taken to another level: Neptune gives talent. This talented person has been able to really captivate and thrill audiences.
Mars is in semi-sextile to Earth: the aspect is technically out of orb, but we have a reason to consider it valid as there is also an indirect Mars-Earth connection:
the above mentioned trines to the Earth by the Jupiter-Neptune combination originate in Scorpio, which is a Mars ruled sign. Furthermore, Mars is in a quincux with Jupiter.
Mars represents action and this semi-sextile is a second house aspect (Mars is in the second sign from Earth): actions are geared to build on physical skills.
Another note on the second house aspect: the building quality can also be interpreted as potential for making money. This occurs specifically in this chart because Aries (where Mars is placed) is the second sign from Pisces where Mercury is placed.

Saturday - Hint 4:
Mars receives a quincux from Jupiter: and it's a difficult 8th house aspect. A system (Jupiter) has had a destructive influence on the person's actions (Mars). Mystery person has indeed been through a lot of controversy. Jupiter's sign - Scorpio - gives you a hint on the subject of the controversy.
Another effect of this quincux: as Mars represents the potential for making money in this particular chart (the potential is strong as Mars is in his own sign Aries), Jupiter's expansive qualities have had a destructive effect (8th house quincux) on the person's assets. This person made a lot of money, but also went to so much expense and became heavily indebted.
Sunday - Hint 5:
As with traditional astrology, the use of Transits is one of the forecasting techniques in heliocentric astrology.
In November 2003, Mystery's house was searched and Mystery was arrested.
Transiting Jupiter at 5° Virgo (heliocentric position) was exactly opposite natal Earth at 5° Pisces, while transiting Pluto at 19° Sagittarius was quincux natal Venus at 19° Cancer.
As mentioned earlier, Venus in Cancer signifies an emotional attachment to the home environment. Pluto's transit in 6th-house quincux to Venus acted as a destructive influence and emotional unease (6th-house quincux as 'dis-ease') relating to the home.
Cancer's dispositor (ruler) is the Earth. The Earth represents the physical reality and close environment. In Mystery's case, both his home (Earth) and his body (Earth) were challenged by the system (opposition from Jupiter).
Monday - Hint 6:
The Earth in Pisces gives a clue to which body part plays a very significant role in Mystery's activity. In astrology, Pisces is associated with the feet.
The other significant body part is represented by Mars' aspect to Earth: as mentioned earlier, the semi-sextile cast by Mars is a 2nd-house placement and we have already noted that this aspect can be interpreted as actions building on physical skills. Now, what is particularly interesting is that Mystery has also enacted this aspect by using one of the body parts traditionally represented by the second house.
In astrology, the second house rules over the lower part of the face and over the neck.
